About the Role
Clicks Group,a leader in the retail and healthcare sector, is seeking two diligent and process-driven Dispatch Checkers to join the team at our Centurion Distribution Centre. This permanent position is critical to the efficiency of our supply chain, offering one role on the day shift and one on the night shift. You will be the operational linchpin, coordinating activities in a fast-paced FMCG environment and assuming direct responsibility for key performance indicators that ensure our products move accurately and on time to stores nationwide. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who thrives on maintaining seamless logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively follow up with all relevant internal and external parties concerning overdue items identified on the daily “Goods in Transit” (GIT) report.
· Ensure all warehouse stores adhere strictly to the standard operating procedures for capturing and reporting receipts.
· Facilitate clear, timely, and effective communication between dispatch, warehouse, transport, and administrative teams to resolve queries and prevent delays.
· Support the daily administrative functions within the department, including accurate data entry, report filing, and documentation management.
· Monitor dispatch processes to ensure alignment with planned schedules and promptly escalate any deviations.
· Uphold the highest standards of accuracy in all checking and coordination tasks to maintain inventory integrity.

Minimum Requirements

· Education: Essential – Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
· Experience: Proven general warehouse experience is required, with specific dispatch or outbound warehouse experience considered a significant advantage.
· Knowledge: A general understanding of Goods in Transit (GIT) processes within a warehouse environment is desirable. Basic materials handling knowledge will strengthen your application.

Required Skills and Competencies

· Essential Skills: Strong basic numeracy and literacy. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
· Work Style: Must be a self-starter capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
· Technical Proficiency: Essential PC literacy, particularly in the MS Office suite (Excel, Outlook). Desirable planning and organising skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Mindset: A solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to operational excellence and safety.
