Rand Water is seeking dedicated Protective Services Officers to join our team at our Central Depot and its satellite pumping stations. If you’re committed to providing top-tier protective services in compliance with the National Key Point Act (Act No.102 of 1980) and company policies, this role is for you.
Role Overview:
As a Protective Services Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of Rand Water’s personnel, property, and assets. Your duties will involve patrolling, guarding, and other security-related tasks to maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide vigilant protective services to Rand Water’s facilities.
- Conduct regular patrols and ensure the security of designated areas.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security-related role.
- Valid PSIRA Grade C registration.
- Firearm competency with Handgun, Rifle, and Shotgun.
- Code 8 driver’s license.
- National Key Point Certificate.
- Qualification in dog handling is an advantage.

- Solid administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
